I am originally from Italy where I grew up in the beautiful and magical city of Rome. At the University of Rome, Tor Vergata, I completed a Bachelor Degree in Economics and, subsequently, a Master of Science in European Economics and Business Law.
After 25 years in the eternal city, I decided it was time to move on and pursue my career in the academic world. I moved to the Netherlands, Tilburg, where I completed a Master Degree in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics.
Upon completion of the Master, I moved to the USA, Pittsburgh to start a doctorate degree in Information Systems and Management at the Heinz College, Carnegie Mellon University.
Apart form academia and research, I enjoy traveling, sports and fitness, good food and wine and art. I am a naturally curious person, as such I enjoy discovering and experiencing new cultures.
